More Cereal Box Promotional Pen Giveaways

So we have talked about cereal box pen giveaways before, but I just found another that is just as cool. This promotional pen uses an invisible ink, which I remember was always fun to play with when I was a kid.

This promotional pen from Chili’s is pretty cool. I’m pretty sure that Chili’s is using the pen within the restaurant, probably handed to customers to use to sign the check. It looks like this pen has a custom insert, it kind of reminds me of promotional billboard pens.

Total Overdose Promotional Pen

This promotional pen that looks like a spicy chili pepper is a clever promo for the video game Total Overdose. Why a chili pepper? Supposedly game play takes place in Mexico and the best way for promoters to tie this into the promotional item was with a chili pepper. Very clever idea!

Apple Promotional Pen

This promotional pen from Apple is so simple, but it still shows the modern style of the apple brand. Sometimes simplicity is the best way to get your message across. When you have a brand as popular as Apple you don’t need to overcrowd your promotional pens with tag lines. This only adds to the elegance of the pen.

1980′s Promotional Pop Tart Pen

Nothing gives you that morning sugar rush like a warm toasty frosted Pop Tart. This vintage promotional pen from Kellogg’s is pretty neat.

Transformers Pen

Here is a cool pen from the promotion of the 2007 Transformers Movie. This promotional pen is actually a great way to get a target audience to interact with one of the movies main characters.

SMX East: MSN LiveSearch Biodegradable Pen

I spent some time on Tuesday at SMX East, trying to find how companies are using promotional pens. Surprisingly I found a lot of companies using promo pens at their booth.

I got this one from the MSN booth. MSN is often criticized for a lot of things. At least no one can say that their promotions aren’t eco-friendly. This biodegradable pen is the perfect way to be ecologically aware at trade shows.

Cereal Box Pen Prizes

I remember the days when you used to get really cool prizes in your cereal box. There were no offer codes you had to collect and go online to claim your prize. No, you actually had to dig to the bottom of the cereal box and find your prize.

This vintage promotional pen from Post is definitely the kind of prize I’m thinking of. I mean, what kid wouldn’t want a glow-in-the-dark pen.

Coca-Cola Polar Bear Pen

Remember those cute polar bear mascots from Coca-Cola. You usually see them at holiday time, but I found this one a little earlier then Christmas. This promotional pen comes in an awesome case and looks really good. I bet it was really successful for Coke.
